Commitment to achieving Net Zero
Level Peaks Associates Ltd is committed to achieving Net Zero emissions by 2050.
Baseline Emissions Footprint
Baseline emissions are a record of the greenhouse gases that have been produced in the past and were produced prior to the introduction of any strategies to reduce emissions. Baseline emissions are the reference point against which emissions reduction can be measured.
Baseline Year: 2021 (First reporting year)
Additional Details relating to the Baseline Emissions calculations.
We have no prior CO2 Emissions reporting in place. We have generated our Emissions reporting based on the 12 months of activities from January 2021 to December 2021. As this is LPA’s first year reporting its carbon emissions there may be some abnormalities in the details which will not become fully apparent until our carbon reporting processes have been refined and we update the company plan in 2022.
Baseline year emissions:
Upstream Transportation and Distribution: 51,485
Waste Generated in Operations: N/A – LPA generates business waste in the form of standard office waste and food waste from staff lunches not supplied by the business. LPA has not historically tracked the volume of waste being produced and thus no records of
this information exist. Procedures will be put in place for the next reporting year.

LPA generates standard office waste and food waste from staff lunches not supplied by the business. LPA has not historically tracked the volume of waste being produced and thus no records of this information exist. A review of waste management was conducted concluding that due to the limited scope of our business and minimal waste created. This doesn’t warrant to be recorded.
Emissions reduction targets
n order to continue our progress to achieving Net Zero, we have adopted the following carbon reduction targets.
We project that carbon emissions will decrease over the next five years to 1,566,830 tCO2e by 2028. This is a reduction of 15%.
LPA is committed to achieving Net Zero Carbon Emissions by 2050.
Carbon Reduction Projects
Completed Carbon Reduction Initiatives
The following environmental management measures and projects have been completed or implemented since the 2021 baseline.
LPA has fully implemented a Cycle to Work Scheme, offsetting the costs of purchasing a bicycle for its employees and encouraging more employees to cycle to and from the office where possible.
LPA has maintained our ISO14001:2015 following our surveillance assessment in December 2022.
LPA offers Through Life Management on its tenders and contracts, allowing customers to return used goods back to us to have its materials repurposed, recycled, or properly disposed of, helping to mitigate the effects of improper disposal of the equipment and its materials.
In the future we hope to implement further measures such as:
Updating LPAs vehicle fleet from predominantly Diesel to a mixture of Hybrid and Electric Vehicles.
Offsetting our carbon emissions in business travel through various schemes available from airlines.
Managing our upstream and downstream transportation and distribution to minimise the number of journeys necessary and reduce vehicle emissions.
Switch to renewable energy at our headquarters.
