Level Peaks have developed one of the worlds most advanced battle smocks.

Available in very low numbers for single purchase and sold to bulk order enabling Level Peaks to tailor the smocks to your requirements. Each batch of smocks can be custom tailored for your specific requirements.

The base product has the following properties:

• Wind, sand & water resistant. This aids the resistance to stain from blood, oils and other liquids.
• lightweight, low bulk & extremely comfortable.
• Customized design for combat by one of the Worlds leading Special Forces Units.

Designed for use in combat, the Technical Smock is designed, and tested by personnel who have experience of using standard issue clothing, in theatre, have an intimate understanding of its flaws and have personally modified and upgraded garments. This product is borne of necessity and contains many obvious features that are seriously lacking in other available combat smocks.

Material

To ensure the Smock remain lightweight and durable, the official Multicam material is Original Crye Precision MultiCam pattern and fabric. Nyco Ripstop provides the highest level of strength, durability, abrasion resistance and color fastness 50% Nylon / 50% Cotton, Ripstop Poplin weave.

External Features

Multi panel Adjustable Peaked hood Designed to comfortably cover and protect the head, while still being able to maintain your situation awareness (adjustable to keep peripheral vision clear)

Pull cord and toggle The peaked cap is adjustable using a pull cord through the peaked area, independently adjusted through toggles situated on either side of the face. Toggle tidy’s, situated in the collar below the toggles allow the user to pull the toggles flush with the jacket to reduce snagging.

Pull cord adjustable collar (hidden) To help reduce bagging the collar is adjustable via the neck toggle. Covered by a sewn flap to reduce snagging possibilities and to reduce exposure.

Arm pockets (Both Sides) Upper arm pockets are designed for easy access with Velcro fastenings, extra depth for use with gloves.

Velcro rank/unit/blood type/friendly forces patch (Both Sides) The external pocket area is a square Velcro patch with a supplied material cover. This will enable you to easily switch your badges or cover the Velcro area when not in use.

Elbow pad pockets Designed for use with standard issue and commercially available elbow pads, the pockets are design specifically for this usage and have Velcro fastenings to secure the pads inside.

Under arm vents Opened and closed via a secure zip (with glove tabs) and a Velcro fastened storm flap. The flap is further secured through a breathable mesh material ensuring the smock does not billow out in adverse weather conditions.

Adjustable cuffs Both arms have adjustable cuffs with Velcro flaps.

Chest Pockets Completely covered by a secure flap the button is safe from snagging, but remains easy to access with or without gloves. High internal pockets mean that there is a fabric fold of approximately 2cm to reduce dust and water accessing the contents. The pockets contain three stitched pen loops and an additional mesh pocket with a Velcro fastening to help stow your equipment easily.

Front pockets Designed in exactly the same way as the chest pockets these provide additional storage areas, half lined with fleece.

Additional ‘Slack Time’ Hand Pockets Situated behind the lower front pockets these are fleece lined for warmth and comfort and are easily accessible for gloved hands

‘Fishtail’ style length The smock has been designed to ensure the lower back area remains covered even in the crouch position. The smock has an additional 4cms in the back to account for this.

Wide storm flap Front panel covering all internal access zips ensuring minimum wind penetration. Secured to the jacket via five Velcro tabs allowing minimum opening for access.

Front Access Zip Double lined stitching to ensure strength and windproof qualities housing the heavy duty, Bi-directional YKK zip system. Each zip has large nylon loops for easy opening while wearing gloves.

Compass pocket Situated on the front of the storm flap, the compass pocket is designed for easy access to the compass with an additional reinforced compass loop and a small Velcro fastening.

Map & Document Pockets To the left and right side of the main access zip are two large mesh lined map and document pockets. The heavy duty YKK zips open from the outside with nylon loops for easy opening while wearing gloves. Both pockets are stitched into the lining of the smock to avoid any discomfort.

Internal Features

Smock / Jacket adjustment The smock is adjustable both in the waist and in the chest through the use of pull cord adjustments positioned inside to avoid snagging.

Internal mesh pockets Large internal pockets affixed to the lining by stitching, designed to stow in a secure and dry area or any equipment that may need to be carried.

Hanging Loop Fabric, stitched at both ends for added strength to allow for the jacket to be easily hung.

Lining The smock is Double lined only across the upper back, shoulders and hood areas to provide comfort for the wearer, strength and longevity while keeping the overall weight down.

Other Features:

Toggles All toggles are tethered to the jacket by 1cm wide loops of nylon, stitched to the jacket for strength.

Eyelets All eyelets, button holes, and tether locations are reinforced for strength and to guard against fraying by looped cotton stitching.

Buttons All buttons are tethered to the jacket with 1cm wide nylon loops. The buttons are also of a single thread design for strength.

Zips All main access zips are YKK industrial strength zips with substantial pull cords for ease of use with or without gloves
